Associate Professor in the Department of Didactics and School Organisation at the University of the Basque Country. Doctor in Pedagogy, Pedagogue, Master in Special Education and Diploma in Early Childhood Education. She has also been trained in a biennial course on educational psychomotor practice and in a specialisation course in Early Childhood Care. Her research has focused on various subjects related to the field of educational and social inclusion, specifically in community action and groups in vulnerable situations such as people with disabilities and rare diseases. Member of research projects (UFI in Education, Culture and Society; Accredited Group Category A Basque Government; Accredited Group Category B Basque Government; Consolidated Group of the UPV/EHU; R+D+i; University-Business-Society; Erasmus+; OTRIs) and various educational innovation projects, one of them in the specialised group modality. She has made several stays as a visiting professor in Spain (Seville, Vigo), UK (Sheffield, Exeter, Southampton), Denmark (Aalborg), Italy (Florence), Holland (s-Hertogenbosch), Ecuador (Quito), Chile (Talca) and Turkey (Akdeniz). She has a six-year research period recognised by the CNEAI.
