Imanol Basterretxea is Lecturer at the Department of Financial Economics II of the University of the Basque Country UPV/EHU. He holds a PhD in Business Sciences from the UPV/EHU, a university in which he also obtained a degree in Economics and Business Administration and holds a master in Business Creation.
He teaches Business Organization, Leadership, Negotiation and Strategic Management in different undergraduate and postgraduate studies in the University of the Basque Country and with repeated experiece as a visiting lecturer in the Universities of Limoges and Bordeaux (France) and as a research visiting fellow in the Open University (UK).
Research interest in Human Resource Management; Cooperatives,Employee Ownership and Innovation. Author of many research papers in journals as Human Resource Management, British Journal of Industrial Relations, Organization, Economic and Industrial Democracy, Journal of Business and Industrial Marketing or European Journal of Innovation Management.
