Jon Martin-Etxebeste (Oiartzun, 1981) is a professor and researcher at the EHU/UPV. He works at the Faculty of Education on the Leioa Campus.

He teaches the following subjects:

- Hezkuntza, Hizkuntza eta Kultur Aniztasuna (Gizarte Hezkuntza)

- Didactics of the Second Language to Immigrant Students (Primary and Childhood Education)

- Didactics of Language and Literature ( Childhood Education).

He has a degree in Childhood Education and a degree in Advertising and Public Relations. He also has a Master's degree in Psychodidactics: Educational Psychology and Specific Didactics. He works in the Department of Didactics of Language and Literature and is finishing his thesis.

He has worked in several media as editor and collaborator: Berria, Egunkaria, Correo, Deia, Oarsoaldeko Hitza, Bertsolari aldizkaria... He was also a scriptwriter for the program Mihiluze of ETB; and has worked as head of communication in the Town Hall of Errenteria-Orereta.

He has been a teacher of Early Childhood Education in Seaska (Angelu), Orereta ikastola, and has collaborated with several free schools. He has created material for Secondary Education for the publishing house Santillana-Zubia.
