BA + MA (1999) and PhD (2010) in History at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU). She has been a professor at the UPV/EHU since 2010. Since 2014 she participates in the Council/Observatory of the Degree in Social Education of the Faculty of Education of Bilbao.



Before joining the university teaching, she worked as a documentalist at the database Inguma about the Basque Scientific Community (www.inguma.eus). Since 1997 she has collaborated with the History section of the university-level association Udako Euskal Unibertsitatea (UEU), and during 2010-2014 she held the position of director of UEU.



Nowadays she investigates issues concerning the History of the Education in the Basque Country, both related to the university education and to the history of schools in Basque language. She is also investigating the origin and development of entities related to the History of Social Education in the Basque Country.
