Graduated in Basque Philology and English Philology from the University of Deusto. Masters in Translation and Interpretation and in Multilingualism and Education at the University of the Basque Country UPV/EHU. Full Professor of Didactics of Language and Literature since 1994 and Academic Secretary of the UPV/EHU Summer Courses (2003-2015). Member of the HIPREST research network. Lines of work and research: Initial training of language teachers, continuing training and university outreach and virtual training. She is currently Vice-Dean of Practicum and End-of-degree Work at The Faculty of Education, Philosophy and Anthropology, UPV/EHU.
