Music performer/teacher. She was given a grant to pursue further studies in France, where she completed her musical education for 3 years with the highest honours: 1er Prix avec Félicitations du Jury and Médaille d'Or du Conservatoire Supérieur de Paris. As a classical music performer, she has received awards in major national and international solo competitions. She has been member of several classical, traditional, folk and contemporary music ensembles, and has made several recordings. Regarding her teaching career, she has taught at music schools for 25 years. She is a university teacher since 2012; as a staff member of the Departement of Didactics of Music, Plastic and Corporal Expression (HEFA II), she teaches in Infant and Primary Education degrees, and in a university-based program for people aged 55 or over.



ACADEMIC BACKGROUND: French State Music Teacher Diploma (1992); Bachelor's Degree in Music (1996); Native Instruments Professional Instructor (2004); Teacher Training for Compulsory Secondary Education, Upper Secondary Education, Vocational Training and Foreign Language Teaching Master Degree (2010); Psychodidactics: Psychology of Education and Specific Didactics Master Degree (2015); PhD cum laude in Psychology of Music (2022).



LANGUAGES: Basque, Spanish, French(C1), English (C1).



Recently, she has been awarded with the 22th "Orfeón Donostiarra - UPV/EHU Prize" for her PhD research "A Stage Fright Prevention Program for 8-to -12 Year-Old Children".
