Juan Francisco Ramírez Fernández, is Associate Professor at the University of the Basque Country (UPV / EHU), since 2002. Currently, he combines teaching at the University School of Engineering of Vitoria-Gasteiz, in the Department of Languages and Computer Systems, with the work of Technical Specialist in Information and Communication Technologies, in the CETIC (Center for Information and Communication Technologies), under the City Council of Vitoria-Gasteiz.



During his career, he has worked in the industrial area (Fagor, Cegasa), in the environment (Inguru Consultores), in meteorological services (Assembly and Gorbea Installations), and in training (Lantek, EHU, Ayto Vitoria-Gasteiz)



His lines of research are linked to the area of Climatic Physics, given his experience in the management and development of methodologies and computer applications for meteorological maintenance. He is doing the doctoral thesis with the title Using GPS data to evaluate the content of water vapor in the atmosphere.
