Description and Contextualization of the SubjectToggle Navigation

The subject aims to identify the performance variables in different sports.



This subject is located within the minor "Sports Performance".

Skills/Learning outcomes of the subjectToggle Navigation

The contents that are taught in this course will be based on: The analysis of the characteristics of different sports and their involvement in the sport result. Equally, identifying the performance indicators from the application of the obervational methods and analysis of the competition to implement training strategies in order to optimize the performance during competition .

Theoretical and practical contentToggle Navigation

FUNDAMENTALS AND ANALYSIS OF COMPETITIVE ACTIVITY. Methods and techniques of analysis of the competition. Procedures to research.



INDICATORS OF THE ACTION GAME. Different levels of performance analysis. Concept of performance indicators. Application of performance indicators based on contextual variables.



DESIGN GUIDELINES FOR IMPLEMENTATION OF STRATEGIES AND SPORT TO USE IN COMPETITION. Assessment of performance analysis during competition. Implementation of strategies to optimize the performance.

During the magistral lectures, the next topics will be analyzed: Performance analysis model, phases and the practical applications.



In the practical sessions: quality of the data, data registration, search the scientific literature, reports and practical applications.

The first individual tests be the value 50%, the other four ( 2., 3., 4. and 5. ) 10%. Finally, the attendance 10 %.



Those who do not come to the clasroom, will have to sustain in a final test different work described beforehand. In this case, they will be evaluated through a written exam necessary to develop all contents of the course .
