Graduated in Sociology by the UPV/EHU (1999) and International PhD in Sociology by the same university (2012). She has done postgraduate studies at UPV / EHU and at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Since 2008 she is lecturer of the Department of Sociology an Social Work. Her main research areas are: sociology of everyday life, domestic work and care, gender inequalities, Time Budget Surveys and sociology of time. She works from a feminist perspective and she is a member of the Feminist Anthropology Research Group-AFIT.
