Aingeru Fernández Bertolin is Profesor Adjunto (Ayudante Doctor) at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU). Hi finished his Ph. D in 2015 at UPV/EHU under the supervision of Professor Luis Vega, and, after a brief stay at Facultad de Economía y Empresa at Elcano as Profesor Laboral Interino, he moved to Université de Bordeaux with an IdEx postdoctoral contract, where he worked under the supervision of Professor Philippe Jaming. Since November 2017, he works at UPV/EHU, at the department of mathematics.

He has done research stays at high level institutions such as the Mathematical Sciences Research Institute (Berkeley, United States) or the Institute for Advanced Study (Princeton, United States) and has published papers on international journas (Applied and Computational Harmonic Analysis and Journal of Functional Analysis among others). His field of research is Partial Differential Equations, more precisely he studies dynamic versions of what are known in Harmonic Analysis as uncertainty principles.
