Dr. Ana Bilbao-Goyoaga completed her BA in English and German Philology at the University of Deusto in 1987, and her PhD at the University of the Basque Country in 2015. She is currently an Associate Professor of Business English at the Faculty of Economy and Business, Elcano, where she specialized in the teaching and learning of English for Specific Purposes. In a 20-year career, she has taught 20 different subjects on this area of knowledge. She has also supervised 36 Degree Final Projects and been a member of 39 examination panels.



Since 1998, she has been a member of a number of academic committees (Academic Issues, Quality, Degree Final Project, and Organization of the 200th Anniversary of the centre), as well as Vice Dean of Academic Issues. She is currently the Vice-Dean of Multilingualism and Mobility at the Faculty of Economy and Business, Elcano.



She has attended over 30 training sessions in order to enhance her professional profile. She has also published one book, four book chapters, four research articles on International Journals, and taken part in International Conferences with many communications. Besides, she has also worked as co-editor of two books.



She is engaged in two different research areas: English for Specific Purposes, in particular, English Learning Strategies in Small and Medium Enterprises, and Virtual Firms Applied to University as a groundbreaking methodology.
