Graduate in General Education Teaching (UPV/EHU, 1979), Psychomotor Practice Diploma (Complutense University of Madrid, 1988), Graduate in Psychology (UNED, 1990), PhD in Psychodidactics (UPV/EHU, 2005) and Pikler pedagogue (in process). She manages Kalitatezko Haur H@zkuntza taldea, an early education research and reflection group in the Faculty of Education, Bilbao. She has co-directed a PhD thesis, awarded with the X Artez Blai International Award in scene-arts research. She has participated in nine research projects, and was the main researcher in eight of them. She is the co-author of 21 scientific papers and a magazine number, author of 3 books and 10 book chapters. She has been recognised with a six-year research period by the CNEAI. Her research interests focus on early childhood development, educational intervention in Early Childhood Education and Early Childhood Education teacher training.
