Associate Professor in the Department of Didactics and School Organisation at the University of the Basque Country. Doctor of Education, Educator, Master's in Special Education and Diploma in Early Childhood Teaching. In addition, a biennial course has been run on psychomotor educational practice, and a specialisation course in Early Intervention. For over 20 years, her research has delved into various areas related to educational and social inclusion, specifically community action and the rights of people with disabilities. She is a member of the KIDEON research group and INKLUNI. She has participated in research projects (UFI for Education, Culture and Society; accredited A-category group of the Basque Government; accredited B-category group of the Basque Government; consolidated group of the UPV/EHU; R&D&i; University-Business-Society; Erasmus+; OTRI), as well as in various education innovation projects, one of which is in the specialised team modality. She has undertaken several visiting professor stays in Spain (Seville, Vigo), the UK (Sheffield, Exeter, Southampton), Denmark (Aalborg), Italy (Florence), the Netherlands (s-Hertogenbosch), Ecuador (Quito), Chile (Talca) and Turkey (Akdeniz). He holds a six-year research contract recognised by the CNEAI, three five-year contracts, the Docentia Excellent award for 2023 and accreditation as a Full Professor.
