I am a permanent lecturer at the Faculty of Economics and Business of the EHU (Gipuzkoa section) in San Sebastian-Donostia since 1999. I am a member of the Department of Financial Economics II and the Institute of Cooperative Law and Social Economy GEZKI of the UPV/EHU and of the research team “Gizarte Ekonomia eta bere Zuzenbidea” -IT1711-22, recognized by the Basque Government.
My teaching work is focused on subjects related to marketing decisions, and I supervise Final Degree Projects and student internships. I also participate as a teacher in the official Master of Social and Solidarity Economy of the EHU. Regarding my research work, I have a PhD in Economics from the University of the Basque Country-Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea (EHU), and I develop my research work in the field of Agroecology and food systems, from a Participatory Action Research and Ecofeminist perspective. My main lines of research are: the analysis of social and community transformation processes and the generation of mechanisms and tools to facilitate the analysis and agroecological processes and projects (e.g. indicator systems, participatory guarantee systems, systematization of processes). The transfer of this research activity is reflected in scientific contributions, direction of doctoral theses, local and international research projects and social outreach collaborations with local and international organizations.
