Ana del Pozo is an associate professor in the area of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Technology at the University of the Basque Country. She teaches on the Degree in Pharmacy and the Masterin Pharmacology. Development, Evaluation and Rational Use of Medicines at the UPV/EHU. She is a member of the teaching staff of the Doctoral Programme in Research and Evaluation of Medicines. Application of Pharmaceutical Technologies to the Development of Advanced Therapies and codirector of the postgraduate course Expert Degree in Practical Health Care Pharmacy. Her research activity is focused on projects related to pharmaceutical technology and pharmacy practice. She has a considerable experience in the development of non-viral vectors for gene therapy, participating in different research projects and industrial contracts in this field, and being co-inventor of three international patents in this area. She has supervised 4 PhD Thesis and has published about 50 papers in international journals with peer reviews.
