Computer technician (1993), Teacher with a specialty in Physical Education (1996), Graduate in Psychopedagogy (1998), Degree in Primary with a mention in Foreign Language (English) (2017) and Doctor in Psychopedagogical intervention (2010) at the Universidad del País Basque (UPV/EHU).



He has been a primary education teacher for 8 years and has worked as a Therapeutic Pedagogy teacher for 5 years in primary and secondary schools in the Basque Country. He has been a professor at the University of the Basque Country since 2007 and currently works full time in the Department of Educational Sciences (UPV/EHU). He has been Coordinator of the Pedagogy Degree for 3 years, member of the Secondary Master's commission for 2 years and Director of Continuing Training for 4 years. He has completed 2 stays at The University of Nevada and has participated in 11 research projects, in addition to participating in 13 research contracts. He is currently Associate Professor at the UPV/EHU and has been recognized for 2 six-year research periods (CENAI).



He is co-author of 33 scientific articles, 14 book chapters and 35 contributions to national and international conferences. He has co-directed 6 doctoral theses and his lines of research focus on teaching-learning processes, work pedagogy, vocational training and educational technology through the analysis of the use and risks of the Internet, both in minors and adults. He belongs to the UNESCO Chair of Communication and Educational Values.
