Graduated in Nursing (2011), MSc in Advanced practice nursing and management (2016) and Ph.D. in Nursing Science (2020) University of Navarre, Spain. Since 2021, she has been working at the Faculty of Medicine and Nursing at the University of the Basque Country (San Sebastian Campus), teaching undergraduate courses in Nursing and postgraduate courses in Health Promotion and Community Health. Her research focuses on intersectoral action for health in local governments, specifically on advancing the implementation of intersectoral approaches for healthy public policies that address social health inequalities. She has participated in competitively funded projects at the regional level in the Basque Country and Navarre, as well as at the national level, focusing on intersectoral collaboration for health promotion. Additionally, she has been the main researcher in different research translation projects at the local government level related to designing municipal health plans that integrate the perspective of social determinants and health inequalities, and also about nurse’s political competence.
