Ana Cristina Araújo has an extensive scientific output and consolidated experience in participating in national and international projects. She edited the Revista de História das Ideias (Journal of the History of Ideas) (2016-2023). Her main area of research is Cultural History in the 18th and 19th centuries. Her most recent studies focus on the History of concepts and political thought in the 19th century. Her latest books are: A Revolução de 1820: Leituras e Impactos (The Revolution of 1820: Readings and Impacts), edited with Miriam Halpern Pereira et al., Lisbon, 2022; and Resistência Patriótica e Revolução Liberal, 1808-1820 (Patriotic Resistance and Liberal Revolution, 1808-1820), Coimbra, 2022.
