I am an Associate Professor of early modern history and member of CHAM - Centre for the Humanities at the Universidade Nova de Lisboa (UNL). I am the author of various studies about the history of Portugal and the Iberian world during the early modern period. He has organized several international meetings on the history of the Iberian monarchies.
