Industrial Engineer in Mechanics (Universidad de Navarra, 1990) and PhD in Applied Mechanics (UPV/EHU, 2004). From 1990 to 1991 worked at Andersen Consulting in development of software. Since 1991 is lecturer and researcher at the Faculty of Engineering, Gipuzkoa. His research interests are: Mathematical Modelling, Artificial Intelligence in robotic systems, Image Processing and Numerical Methods.
