Dr. Imanol Basterrechea Iribar, Marine Officer. He is a lecturer and investigator in the Nautical Sciences and Marine Engineering Department of the University of the Basque Country. He got Ph.D. degree in 2011. He has taken part in various R&D contracts and projects related to navigation and coastal management. He is author of various textbooks and academic articles.
