Tema 1. Presentación del curso. Objetivos que se persiguen. Profesorado integrante y sus líneas de investigación. Programa y calendario. Metodología docente. Evaluación.Tema 2. Homeostasis orgánica de los lípidos y patologías asociadas a su desregulación. El hígado y el metabolismo de glicerolípidos y colesterol. La secreción biliar.
Tema 3. Bases moleculares y celulares de las patologías lipoproteicas. Enfermedad de hígado graso y aterosclerosis. Procesos metabólicos alterados y generación intracelular de almacén lipidico.
Tema 4. Esfingolípidos y glicerolípidos bioactivos. Papel en el establecimiento y progreso de patologías inflamatorias y tumorales. Generación intracelular de esfingolípidos y su metabolismo. Rutas de señalización en las que participan.
Tema 5. Señalización celular en enfermedades hepáticas. Principales rutas de señalización implicadas en la generación de carcinoma hepatocelular. Nuevas dianas terapéuticas.
Tema 6. Estrés oxidativo y peroxidación. Especies reactivas oxigenadas y sistemas celulares de protección. Ácidos grasos poliinsaturados. Micronutrientes y balance redox.
Tema 7. Papel del sistema inmune en la progresión de la enfermedad hepática y generación de la cirrosis. Implicación de las células NK. Papel de la osteopontina. Activación de vías de señalización implicadas.
Tema 8. Avances metodológicos implicados en el diagnóstico y pronóstico de enfermedades. La lipidómica y la metabolómica
