GORKA ARMENTIA GALAN

Graduate in Physics (2003) and PhD in Mathematics (2015) at Universidad del País Vasco UPV/EHU. Lecturer at UPV/EHU since 2016, current position: assistant professor. From 2009 to 2016, teaching fellow at the Public University of Navarre.

Member of the Research Group GAMA (Grupo de Análisis Matricial y Aplicaciones), which was acknowledged by UPV/EHU in the 2016 call, and member of the Thematic Network ALAMA (Álgebra Lineal, Análisis Matemático y Aplicaciones). Contributor in 9 research projects, continuously since 2008. Coauthor of several publications: 8 papers and 4 book chapters. Over 20 contributions in national and international conferences. A two-month stay at Technische Universität in Berlin, 2019.

This is the main line of research: quantitative and qualitative spectral perturbation of matrices. More precisely, these two problems: pseudospectra of matrices and (A, B)-invariant subspaces.
