Graduated in 2006 in Psychology from the University of the Basque Country/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea, she obtained a PhD in Psychology from the same university with the distinction cum laude given unanimously in 2011. She has made several research stays in the Technische Universitäit Berlin (TUB). Her teaching activity is linked to Personality and Psychological Counselling. She is author of several articles and book chapters that cover topics related to family relationships, adolescence and gender differences in psychological well-being and mental health. She has participated in several national and international conferences related to psychological assessment, adolescence, family, and child and youth development.



In the clinical field, she has training in Systemic Psychotherapy (2010), Child and Adolescent Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy (2016) and EMDR (2014/2019). She is a collegiate member (GZ02094) in the Official School of Psychology of Gipuzkoa, is a psychotherapist recognized by the Spanish Federation of Psychotherapist Associations (FEAP) and General Health Psychologist, being a partner of the Basque Association of Dynamic and Systemic Therapies (AVAPSI) and of EMDR Spain Association. In the clinical professional field, she has participated in the design, elaboration and evaluation of family interventions in the sphere of child neglect and abuse, as well as in individual, couple and family psychotherapeutic practice.
