Degree in Psychology and University Professor at the Faculty of Psychology of the University of The Basque Country.
Her lines of research focus on cross-cultural research methodology, the design, implementation and evaluation of intervention programs and the adaptation of assesment tools, as well as studies on emotions and emotional intelligence, gender differences and suicide. As a result of her research activity, she has published numerous scientific papers and she has participated in national and international congresses. She has also worked on several contracts and agreements with companies and institutions.
She teaches undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the area of Methodology of Behavioral Sciences, in which she has supervised several doctoral dissertations, research training grants, postdoctoral and research contracts, and bachelor degree theses and master's degree projects.
Finally, in relation to university management, she has held the positions of Vice-Dean and Dean in the School of Psychology. She has been President of the Conference of Deans of Psychology of Spanish Universities.
