M. Maruri studied industrial engineering at the University of the Basque Country, Spain. She received the Ph.D. degree in engineering in 2001.,Since 2001, her work has dealt with the optimization of the radars of Euskalmet. She is an expert in the European e-Winprof project and she has participated in several Cost Action. She is a teacher at the University of the Basque Country and she works as a researcher in the Meteo Unit of Tecnalia Research and Innovation.
