The benchmark congress for the semiconductor industry in Spain occurred in Valencia on December 2 and 3, 2024, at Caixaforum Valencia. Its slogan, “European Chips Act & PERTE CHIP: The moment of truth,” reflects the importance of the unique moment the sector finds itself in Spain and Europe. The Congress served to establish important conclusions, defined proposals and roadmaps for investment at a time of great relevance for the future of the microchip industry in Europe and Spain, coinciding with the beginning of the mandate of the new European Commission and the final stages of implementation of the PERTE Chip. 

Organized by the Spanish Semiconductor Industry Association (AESEMI) and VASIC (Valencia Silicon Cluster), this event is a unique opportunity to connect with experts, companies, and industry professionals and explore the latest trends and developments in the semiconductor industry.

Armando Astarloa and Koldo Basterrechea represented the SoC4sensing Chair, participating in the specific sessions dedicated to the Chip Chairs, formalizing its membership in the MOU agreed between the Chip Chairs of the state.
