The SoC4sensing University-Company Chip Chair offers scholarships for students who study the UNIVERSITY MASTER DEGREE IN ADVANCED ELECTRONIC SYSTEMS at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) and who include in their enrollment the subjects sponsored by the SoC4sensing Chair during the academic year 2025/2026.

The proposed Training Plan covers training activities for the following degrees of the Bilbao School of Engineering:
- Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Telecommunications Engineering
- Master's Degrees in Advanced Electronic Systems
- Doctoral Programs in Electronics and Telecommunications
- Doctoral Programs in Physical Engineering
- Business and Entrepreneurship.
The objectives of the training plan are to strengthen and expand the presence and contribution of highly qualified professionals in the field of telecommunications and advanced electronics, promoting innovation and economic development in the industry.

CALL FOR SCHOLARSHIPS TO STUDY THE UNIVERSITY MASTER DEGREE IN ADVANCED ELECTRONIC SYSTEMS FOR THE 2025/2026 COURSE

The subjects sponsored by the SoC4sensing Chair are:
- Design of Digital Integrated Circuits. The subject is dedicated to the fundamentals of VLSI design, emphasizing the use of design tools and the practical aspects of digital IC development.
- Design of SoCs with RISC-V architecture. This course is oriented to the integration of RISC-V architecture processors together with self-designed coprocessor cores for developing SoCs with diverse applications in critical systems.
The scholarship will cover the totality of the credits of the master's degree enrolled in the academic year 2025/2026 (60 ECTS).
The maximum number of scholarships will be awarded according to the financial endowment available by the ranking mechanism established in this call. Three of these scholarships are of priority for female students, provided that applications are submitted.
The official call for these grants and the detailed application procedure will be published by the Vice-rectorate for Transfer and Internationalization of the UPV/EHU during the grant period.
