Brief description: The "Special Digication" is a completely innovative project that will include digital teaching/learning materials and instructions of integrating them in SEN classes through a novel approach we will design and name as “Digi-holistic”. Our partners have been partners/coordinators of various EU projects whose goals have mostly been to develop teachers' professional abilities and develop digital and communication competencies.

According to the results of our internal studies (needs analysis, questionnaires, focus group studies and field research), we revealed that there is a need for an innovative approach which adapts digital competences not strategically but in practice, an open digital source with digital materials for SEN (mild mental disability), training for SEN teachers, international cooperation on the issue.

Our main objectives are to strengthen the strategic and structured cooperation between higher education institutions to enable SEN teachers to embrace an innovative Digi-holistic approach in classes, to develop high-quality early childhood education systems (in line with the ECEC Council Recommendation) with regards to teaching-learning materials, to enable students with mild MD to acquire social adaptation skills through innovative digital content, to create free digital-educational resources with a creative commons license, to develop recommendation policy on digital inclusion in SEN, to adapt to digital changes in education at the organizational level, to increase SEN teachers' and SEN parents' pro-European minded digital literacy skills and increase awareness for digital inclusion of the disabled in the society, to maintain effective partnerships for cooperation, which will solve common problems, to develop our institutions' internationalization strategies and networking.
