Pablo Irizar earned a bachelor's degree in Chemistry Sciences from the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU) (2018), where he obtained his master's specialization in Environmental Contamination and Toxicology with a research on the synthesis and characterization of new environmentally friendly products based on BPA-free epoxy materials. He continued his studies as international student at Poland University and obtained a doctoral grant from the Spanish Ministry to start the international PhD at UPV/EHU. His work is focused on the design of ecofriendly organic-inorganic hybrids for long-term stone preservation. He explored new nanotechnologies at CHIBIOFARAM Department at Messina University and currently is working on the development of ionic liquids based cleaning methodologies for Cultural Heritage.
