Coordinator and External Relationships of Eibar's section (Engineering Faculty of Gipuzkoa, GIE)
Professor of Secondary Education for three courses (1992/95). Doctor Electronics Engineer, he is Associate Professor and has taught since 1995 in the Degree in Industrial Electronics and Automatic Engineering, and in the Renewable Energies Energías Engineering, and in the Control Engineering, Automation and Robotics (INCAR), and in the Control of Smart Electric Networks and Distributed Generation (Smart Grids), University Masters. He has directed more than 20 Final Degree/Master Projects (FD/MP) and has been a member of more than 90 FDP courts. He has published numerous notes and solved exercises for his students (2 ISBN), as well as on the internet (cnx, OCW), related to the subjects he has taught, both in spanish and in basque (Industrial Computing, Automatic Regulation and Control, Robotics, LabVIEW Programming, etc.).
His research area is the Advanced Control of Electrica Machines, and belongs to the advanced Control Group (UPV/EHU). He has participated actively in 20 research projects and in 9 research contracts with companies. He is coauthor of, 1 industrial patent, 20 papers published in international journals and 53 papers of international conferences. He has 2 research sections (CENAI), he is part of INCAR Doctoral Program and directs 1 doctoral thesis.
