Bachelor in Biochemistry (2002) and Doctor in Microbiology (2009) at the University of the Basque Country UPV/EHU. She is an Assistant professor in the Faculty of Medicine and Nursing and teaches the subjects Medical Microbiology and Immunologyand Clinical Microbiology and Infection. She is currently the Academic secretary of the Immunology, Microbiology and Parasitology Department.



Her research work focuses on the study of the pathogenicity of species of the Aspergillus genus and on the molecular diagnosis of invasive aspergillosis. Is coauthor of 15 research papers, a book chapter, and has collaborated in 15 research proyects. https://www.ehu.eus/es/web/fungalpathogen/home
