Graduated and PhD in Classical Philology (UPV/EHU), she is a Senior Lecturer in Latin Philology at the Faculty of Arts since 1997. Her teaching activity is focused on the Degree in Philology, the Master's Degrees in the Classical World and in Comparative Literature and Literary Studies, and in the Programs for Senior Citizens. She currently teaches the subjects Latin Language II, Presence of classical literature in the Western culture, Latin: a history of a language and a culture and Rome through its authors. Her research activity deals with Rhetorics and Tradition in epigraphic texts -carmina- and Christian authors, as well as the reading of Antiquity by contemporary female writers.
