Bachelor in Chemistry, MSc in "Environmental Contamination and Toxicology" and a PhD CUM LAUDE and an extraordinary award. Currently serving as a Full Professor in the Faculty of Pharmacy, teachigng in the degree programs of Food Science and Technology, Environmental Sciences, as well as in the Master's program in Forensic Analysis and the Doctoral Program in "Interdisciplinary Scientific Strategies in Heritage and Landscape."

She has participated in 40 research projects and 23 R&D contracts (12 as PI), leading three projects for access to unique scientific facilities. Having authored 95 research articles and supervised 10 Master's Theses, 4 Doctoral Theses, and 3 ongoing PhD projects, her research specializes in Applied Chemistry for the Study and Conservation of Cultural Heritage. This includes notable contributions to Pompeii, Machu Picchu, paintings by Edvard Munch, and the Togado de Pompelo.

Currently, she is the PI of ENCLOSURE project (https://enclosure-project.eu) and collaborates on the MSCA TaphArt project, examining the potential disappearance of rock art in the Blombos Cave (South Africa) due to taphonomic processes. Beyond her expertise in food analysis, forensics, and meteorites, she has contributed to projects related to the Perseverance rover (NASA) and Exomars (ESA). Additionally, she serves as a representative of RSEQ and secretary in the EuChemS WP ChemCH, and president of the RSEQ Group "Chemistry for the Study and Conservation of Cultural Heritage."
