Graduated in Architecture (University of the Basque Country) in 1996, and holds an M.S. in Conservation of Historical Towns and buildings (Faculty of Engineering, Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium) in 1999, with a grant from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Since 1999, she has practiced as an independent architect developing her professional career collaborating with architecture offices or developing her own projects in the field of housing, designing new buildings as well as refurbishment projects. Since October 2015 and for 15 months, she worked in the Fire Department of the council of Donostia-San SebastiƔn. Her work was related to control all type of building permit applications concerning the accomplishment of fire regulations.

Since 2011 she is a part-time associate professor at the School of Architecture of the University of the Basque Country, in the construction area. She teaches the subjects: Construction and Constructive Process. Likewise, she teaches on Fire Protection in the Postgraduate in Consultancy in Design of Gastronomic Spaces of the UPV-EHU. On the other hand, he is a member of the Equality Commission of the architecture school.

She is currently part of the working team of the research project directed by the COAVN and financed by the Basque Government, ERAIKAL Program, Guide of good practices for floor addition projects concerning the design of fire safety in residential buildings in the Basque Country.
