Abbreviated CV

Chemical Engineer by the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU, 2011) and Master’s degree in Chemical Process Engineering and Sustainable Development (UPV/EHU, 2012). In 2013 I joined CPWV (Catalytic Processes and Waste Valorization) research group where I have developed my PhD. During this period I made an international stay at Ghent University (Belgium), which has allowed me to become an International Doctor in Chemical Engineering by the UPV/EHU (2018).

My professional activity has always been developed at the UPV EHU. From 2015 on I have combined the research and university teaching activities, teaching at the Department of Chemical Engineering of the Faculty of Science and Technology (during 2015/2016, 2016/2018, 2017/2018 and 2019/2020 school years) and at the Department of Chemical and Environmental Engineering of the School of Engineering Gipuzkoa (during 2018/2019 school year).

My research activity has focused on the development of catalytic processes for the valorization of secondary refinery streams and wastes in the consumers’ society, such as tires and plastics, through the sustainable production of automotive fuels and high value-added products. I am co-author of 18 publications in prestigious indexed international journals (144 citations, h index of 7) and I have more than 40 contributions to congresses.
