Laura Vozmediano Sanz

Curriculum vitae

Laura Vozmediano Sanz (b. Irún, 1979) holds an undergraduate degree (2003) and a PhD (2010) in Psychology from the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU). She is an associate professor in the Social Psychology area at the Faculty of Psychology in Donostia/San Sebastián. Her research lines are related to the fields of environmental psychology and environmental criminology. She has co-authored over 30 scientific papers and three books, and she is also a reviewer for JCR-indexed journals. A member of the CRIM-AP consolidated research group, she has taken part in 21 research projects and 7 R&D contracts with businesses and/or public administrations, in two of which she was the lead researcher. She has been on research stays at the University of Surrey and at the University College London (UK). She has co-directed three PhD theses, two of them international. She took part in the ERAGIN programme of training in active teaching methods, her rating under the Docentiaz programme is Excellent and she is part of an IKD structured teaching team. She has been a member of the organising committee of three congresses, as well as a member of the Governing Board of the Spanish Society for Criminological Research (2015-2018). She has been Vice-Dean for Quality and Undergraduate Studies at the Faculty of Psychology of the UPV/EHU.
