Architect by the ETS of Architecture of the UN since September 2001. She defended her thesis entitled Architectural dimension at the origin of British planning in January 2007.

She has subsequently combined teaching and professional work in the field of urban planning.

She is a professor in the Area of Urban Planning and Territorial Planning of the Department of Architecture of the UPV / EHU since September 2012 where she has taught subjects related to urban planning and planning in the Bachelor´s Degree in Architecture, in the Máster en Rehabilitación, Restauración y Gestión Integral del Patrimonio Construido y de las Construcciones Existentes and in the Master in Architecture.

She has been positively evaluated in 2018 Docentiaz Program.

Currently, her research is located around the protection of urban heritage, the affections to urban planning and urban thinking. Her publications can be seen in: https://orcid.org/0000-0002-4512-861X.

In the School she has collaborated in tasks apart from teaching as part of the PFC, master's and thesis tribunals. She also carries out management tasks from various commissions (Academic Commission, Quality Commission, Academic Committee of the University Master in Architecture and Equality Commission) and, since October 2017 to February 2022, from the Vice-deanship of Culture, Students and Basque.
