Under the title Identity Under Pressure: Provocations on Power, Recognition, and Democratic Transformations, the breakfast will revolve around three thought-provoking questions:

• Who Has the Power to Define Us? Identity, Law, and Democratic Recognition.
• Are We Still in Control of Who We Are? Identity, Technology, and Human Agency.
• When Does Identity Become a Battleground? Belonging, Polarisation, and Democratic Conflict.

The programme combines three short provocations by node members, moderated discussions, interactive exercises, and small-group conversations around contemporary democratic dilemmas. We have suggested potential speakers for each provocation and invited volunteers to contribute.

Our main objective is to create an engaging space for intellectual exchange, particularly given the diversity of disciplines represented within the node, while gradually building a stronger sense of community and opening up possibilities for future collaboration.
