Short biography

Charlotte Lefebvre is graduated with a PhD in Environmental Sciences and is currently a post-doctoral researcher. Her works focus on plastic pollution in the marine environment and particularly microplastics. Her research aims at describing the level and nature of the contamination in different marine compartments (e.g. water column, sea surface, sediment, marine species). She also studies the toxicity of weathered plastics, such as fishing nets, on marine organisms at larval stages.  She also works on the degradation and colonization of plastic and she is involved in research area that aims at understanding the sources of plastic contamination as well as the processes that are driving their transport. According to Scopus, she has 6 publications, cited 148 times (144 citing articles) and her h-index is 4.
