Born in Lleida in 1956. He obtained the title of Architect at the School of Architecture of Barcelona in 1983. In 1984 he began his collaboration in the studio of Manuel Iñiguez and Alberto Ustarroz until 1987. Since then, he has developed his independent professional activity.
As a professor, he works at the ETSA of San Sebastián in the Department of Architecture from 1985 to 1995, and since 1995 he has been a Full Professor at the University School of Architectural Projects.
As an architect, in 1985 he obtained the 1st. Prize in the Contest of ideas for the Special Plan of the Casco Viejo de Burlada, Navarra, and in 1993-2002 it realizes a building of houses in the Historical Center of Pamplona.
He has also been a founding member and member of the editorial board of the magazine Architectural Composition, Art & Architecture.
