On June 26, at an event held at the TOPIC center in Tolosa, the Kutxa Foundation announced the names of the five winners of the Inspira Gazteak 2025 awards. Ainhoa Bereziartua Aranzabal, member of the B-EHRG research group, was among the winners. Along with her, Shrabani Aranzabe-Pita, Maddi Goikoetxea, Maite Ponferrada and Sofia Ferreira were also awarded.
The aim of the Inspira Gazteak award is to recognize and showcase the inspiring journeys and projects of young people in Gipuzkoa, creating new references and providing motivation for new generations. In this year's edition, more than 120 proposals were received, and each winner will receive a grant of 15,000 euros to continue developing their project.
Ainhoa, an expert in the One Health vision, is developing a traveling exhibition on urban health, in collaboration with an illustrator in science dissemination. Using augmented reality, the project aims to raise awareness among citizens about the impact of urban environments —such as air pollution, noise or green spaces— on our health, using Basque and attractive formats, especially aimed at young people.
Congratulations to Ainhoa and the other award winners!
