Environmental health seeks to identify, monitor, and manage the impact of environmental factors on human well-being. At B-EHRG, we have been dedicated to this field for almost two decades, focusing on the Basque Country’s population. 

Our work is structured around three main research lines: 

1. Characterizing environmental exposures through analysis of biological samples. 
2. Assessing the health impacts of those exposures on various population groups. 
3. Evaluating public and professional awareness of environmental risks and factors, engaging different stakeholders regarding key environmental exposures. 

The ultimate goal of our research is to advance knowledge on the links between environmental agents and health outcomes, while informing and guiding professionals, policymakers, and public health authorities to foster healthier communities.
