Izaro Babarro.PhD in psychology at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU).

After defending her doctoral thesis in 2022, she began teaching at the faculty of Medicine and Nursing (UPV/EHU). Since December 2023, she has been an assistant professor at the same faculty.

Throughout these years, her research has focused on studying the effects of environmental factors on neuropsychological and pubertal development. She has collaborated with two research groups, the Environmental Epidemiology and at Basque Environmental Health Research Group (BEHRG) at the University of the Basque Country.

Over the past five years, she has participated in two research projects, published more than ten scientific journal articles, and presented over ten works at national and international conferences. In 2021, she carried out a research stay in Linköping, Sweden.
