Miren Begoña Zubero Oleagoitia

Additional information
Degree in Biological Sciences (1994) and PhD in Epidemiology and Public Health from the UPV/EHU (2010). During 2009-2011 she worked as a researcher at the Clinical Epidemiology Unit of Cruces Hospital. From 2011-2013 she worked as a project manager at the Basque Foundation for Health Innovation and Research (BIOEF). Since 2014 she has been a lecturer in the Department of Preventive Medicine and Public Health, teaching Biostatistics and Introduction to Biomedical Research. She also teaches on the Master's Degree in Public Health at the UPV/EHU.
Her research has mainly focused on projects related to biomarkers in the general population: heavy metals, organochlorine pollutants and pesticides.
She is currently involved in two other research projects:
- PARC (PARTNERSHIP FOR THE ASSESSMENT OF RISKS FROM CHEMICALS) with a duration of 84 months (from 1/5/2022 to 30/4/2029).
- ENVIRONMENT EPIGENOMICS AND ENDOMETRIOSIS: AN INTEGRATIVE APPROACH FOR PREVENTION AND DIAGNOSIS for a duration of 24 months (from 1/1/2023 to 31/12/2024).
