Abbreviated CV

I graduated in Chemical Engineering in 2016 at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU). That last year I did my Final Project in the laboratories of this Department on "Hydrogen Production through Biomass Pyrolysis and Steam Reforming, and the influence of the Nikel catalysts" for Laura Santamaria's Thesis. With this project I got to know this research group. In 2017, I finished a Master in Research in Energy Efficiency and Sustainability in Industry, Transport, Construction and Town Planning, also at the University of the Basque Country.

In September 2019 I was contracted by the Departament of Chemical Engineering of the UPV/EHU as a non-doctoral researcher to continue the same research line in which I had done my Final Degree Project (mentioned previously). That is, in order to overcome the main challenges that limit the full scale implantation of the mentioned process, such as the endothermicity of the reforming reaction and the fast catalyst deactivation, this research proposes the incorporation of oxygen in the reforming stage.

From March 2020, I am enjoying the Predoctoral grant from the University of the Basque Country and I continue to work on this line of research. At the moment, a paper has been published in the journal Energy Conversion and Management, "Thermodynamic assessment of the oxidative steam reforming of biomass fast pyrolysis volatiles".
