Irantzu Martinez Arkarazo associate professor of the Department of Analytical Chemistry of the UPV/EHU (2012), she is a member of the IBeA consolidated group. As a result of her research into the study of the impact of the environment on heritage, and in particular on the conservation of stone material, she has more than 60 scientific publications including articles in ISI journals and book chapters in international conference proceedings and books from prestigious publishers, which gives her an h-index of 26. She has presented more than 120 communications at conferences and has been a member of the organising committee of the RAA2009, ISMEC2010 and TECHNART-2017 conferences. He has participated in projects funded by public calls for R&D projects of various kinds (38 in total), including two MICINN projects. In addition, he has participated in 16 R&D contracts of special relevance with Companies and/or Administrations. As for her academic work, she is lecturer of the grade in Chemistry of the Factuly of Science and Technology, where she has also been a member of the Undergraduate Studies Committee for 5 academic years. She has supervised 5 doctoral theses with International Mention (one with an Extraordinary Doctorate Award), 6 master's theses in the Master's Degree in Environmental Contamination and Toxicology and 1 in the Official Master's Degree in Landscape Management: Heritage, Territory and City. She is the academic secretary of the department since 2019.
