Degree in Information Sciences and Social and Political Sciences from the University of the Basque Country. Doctor in Social Anthropology from the same university. She is currently a professor of Social Anthropology at the UPV / EHU both in undergraduate and postgraduate level. For two decades she has been investigating issues related to the language (Basque) and Basque culture, youth, leisure time and sports; mainly from a feminist and gender prism. She is the author of numerous publications, the last of which are related to the bertsolarism or oral improvisation characteristic of Euskal Herria. It is part of the research group, AFIT (Feminist Anthropology).
