The research group has put all their energy and knowledge into the characterization and quantification of conjunctival cells that express the ACE-2 receptors responsible for the entry of the virus into cells so that it may replicate.

The preliminary results have been presented as oral communication at the 2nd National Multidisciplinary Congress on Covid-19.
