Doctor in Philosophy and an Architect since 2005 from the Higher Technical School of Architecture at the UPV/EHU. In 2010 I completed the Research master's degree in Philosophy, Science and Values at the UPV/EHU with a grade of Excellent by unanimous decision.

In 2016 I presented my doctoral thesis in the Department of Philosophy of Values and Social Anthropology at the UPV/EHU. My research focused on the history of the evolution of the Architectural Profession in the Basque Country from the 16th century up until the UPV/EHU School of Architecture was founded in 1977. I obtained a grade of Summa Cum Laude.

I have been an Associate Teacher in the UPV/EHU Department of Architecture since 2018, specifically in the area of Construction. My teaching activity is split between the Higher Technical School of Architecture where I teach the 4th year subject Egiturak III (Hormigoizko egituren kalkulu eta diseinua) and the 5th year Egituren Dimentsioen Historioa as part of the degree course in the Fundamentals of Architecture; and the Gipuzkoa School of Engineering, where I teach History of Construction as part of the degree course in Technical Architecture.

Since 2018 I have also been a member of the hired research staff for the Archives of Architecture: 20th century. Chronicle of the profession at the UPV/EHU Higher Technical School of Architecture.

I am a co-founder of the ERLAITZA bulego teknikoa S.L.P. Architecture, Urban Planning and Engineering Studio.
